Player Evaluations & Tryouts
Tackle Cut Policy and Tryouts

Tackle Football is a competitive division which plays in a competitive league. Registration itself does not guarantee you a place on the team. There is a maximum number of players allowed by the League in each weight class. Final cuts will be at the discretion of the Head Coach. The first two weeks of practices are generally considered tryouts. The first week of practice is generally conditioning and non-contact drills. Players will be evaluated on their general athleticism. The second week of practice is full contact and the player will be evaluated based on their ability to play in pads.

Any child who is cut from a team will receive a refund for registration fees less a $25 administrative fee. All raffle unsold raffle tickets must be returned and payments made for any sold raffles. If spots are available you will be given the option to move to Flag Football.
Mandatory Player Evaluations for Flag players on Sunday, June 4th.
In order to maintain a competitive balance in the league all Flag players must participate in a player evaluation session. The purpose of this session is to allow coaches to evaluate available players for the Flag Division player drafts.  This is also an opportunity to size players for their 2017 game uniforms if they have not done so previously.

Player Evaluations will be held at Lakeside Park at the times listed below.

Pee Wee flag division players will be randomly assigned and do not need to participate in player evaluations. Pee Wee players should still stop by the park between 11:00 am - 2:00 pm to be sized for uniforms, if they have not done so previously.

Player Drafts will be held in the weeks following evaluations. Expect to hear from your coach by mid to late June.  If you have not been contacted by a coach by July 1st, please contact the League.

Flag Meet the Coach will be held on Saturday, July 8th, Site to be determined. The League will be distributing practice t-shirts, mouth pieces and flags for each player at this event. Your Child's Coach will be present and will have important information for you on the upcoming season

Pee Wee & Juniors Meet the Coach begins at 10:00 am.  Seniors & NFL will begin at 11:00 am.
