Teen VolunteersThe Coconut Creek Football Program encourages teenagers to give back to their community by sharing their passion for football and cheerleading as a Teen Volunteer.
  • - Teen volunteers can serve as coaches in both football and cheerleading.
  • - Cheer Teen Advisors are needed as well to assist with routines and stunting.
  • - All time volunteered can be applied to your High School Service Learning requirements.
  • - Opportunity to win up to $500 in College Scholarship.

Earn Service Hours Towards your High School Requirement
The Broward County School District as well as most other South Florida School Districts require that a student complete a minimum of 40 documented Service Learning hours as part of their graduation requirement.

The Broward School District believes that Service learning teaches the skills of civil participation and develops an ethic of service and civic responsibility. Students can provide service in the community on a voluntary basis to public, nonprofit agencies, civic, charitable and governmental organizations and school campuses.

Your participation as a teen volunteer with the Coconut Creek Football program qualifies as high school service learning credits.  To get started follow these steps:

The Arielle Anacker Scholarship
Arielle AnackerThe Coconut Creek Football Program awards $500 in scholarships each year to the teen volunteers who has made a positive impact on the youth of our community with their volunteer efforts in the previous year.

The "Arielle Anacker Scholarship" is awarded in memory of Arielle Anacker a former league participant who lost her battle with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, in 2001, at the age of eleven. Arielle's spirit and commitment to the community will not be forgotten.

All  scholarship applicants must be current league volunteers and are required to complete a one page double spaced typed essay with a theme of  "What do you get out of volunteering and why do you volunteer".
Essays must be turned in by November 4th to be considered for the current season scholarship.

The Arielle Anacker scholarship is awarded each season during our Year End Picnic.
